Andy Powell

Technical Director

Andy is excited to be technical directing their first show. They’re very excited to see the full piece come together. In the past Andy has assistant directed Urinetown, Fortress and was Sound Designer on Alice in Wonderland, The Man Who Came To Dinner, The Lightning Thief, Freaky Friday and 26 Pebbles. They’d like to thank everyone on cast and crew for bringing this all together, particularly the stage managers who have been fantastic all production. They hope you enjoy the show. Also he would love nothing more if you would go see Langley's student production of Ken Ludwig's Postmortem on May 10th and 11th.

Jenny Mears

Stage Manager

Guess who's back, back again. It's Jenny and she's so happy to be the Stage Manager for Guys and Dolls. She's always got herself tangled up in something, whether it's Cappies Critics, ITS, Saxon Stage shows, or Tech class while also managing Junior year. Thank you to Declan, Caroline and Q for your hard work and lovable antics :), and thank you to Rachel and Andy for being her favorite people. More importantly, go see the fully student produced production of Postmortem on May 10th and 11th in the LHS Auditorium to see her in her biggest role on stage since the 6th grade! NOW ENJOY THE SHOW!

Declan O'Rourke

Assistant Stage Manager

Declan is excited to have been part of this incredible production. It is his 5th show with Saxon Stage, some of these shows include Alice in Wonderland, Fortress, and The Man Who Came to Dinner. He would like to thank his parents for all the support they provide throughout the productions very hectic creation, and he would like to thank the other stage managers who have helped catch him up to speed in the role. Caroline Mayer

Assistant Stage Manager

Caroline is excited to be a part of this amazing production! This is her 6th show with Saxon Stage. She is grateful to her family and friends for supporting her all the while. She would especially like to thank Jenny (SM) for being her mentor and helping her grow into this role. Lastly, she would like to give a shout out to the props and run crews for all their hard work :). She hopes everyone enjoys the show!

Erin Young

Lighting Co-Designer

Erin is thrilled to be working on Guys and Dolls as this is her 9th production with Saxon Stage. She wants to thank her family, friends, and friends in clubs for putting up with the hectic schedule. She would also like to especially thank Atlas Zecca and Mr. Kaufman for teaching her so much about lighting; it was a great joy to learn from and work with them. She hopes everyone enjoys the show!

Lighting Co-Designer

Atlas is excited to be taking on another show as a lighting designer. As a junior, Atlas is consistently busy with managing school, theater, art, the very-long-list-of-movies-he-still-needs-to-watch-so-he-can-talk-about-them-with-his-friends, napping, and his never-ending playlists that he has yet to listen to. He first wants to thank his crew for putting in their all, even on the days where everyone was so tired they just wanted to go home and sleep. He would also like to thank his co-head, Erin Young, whose been with him through thick and thin for every Saxon Stage production, and wants to dedicate his work in this show to her and her final show at the school. With much love and intensive headaches, Atlas wants to thank you for coming to see the production, and hopes you enjoy it.

Aanya Shah

Master Electrician

Aanya is a junior at Langley and this is her fifth production working on the crew for Saxon Stage! She would like to thank her fellow crew members for being such amazing people to work with. Aanya is grateful for the opportunity to work on the production and improve her skills working with the lighting crew! She hopes you enjoy the show!

Sound Designer

Nate is a sophmore at Langley High School and this is his fourth show with Saxon Stage! He is very grateful to be given this opportunity. He would like to thank his friends and family for supporting him along the way. He hopes that everyone enjoys the musical!

Alex Jia

Sound Engineer

Alex is incredibly excited to be a Crew Head in his final Saxon Stage production. Alex is a senior and has been a part of every main stage production since sophomore year. Some of his favorite shows have been Murder on the Orient Express and Urinetown! Alex would like to dedicate his final production to Andy Powell who he has worked with every show, Anna Jordan who is incredibly fun to work with, and Nate Lee who is a young and upcoming talent in sound design. Alina He-Cheng

Props Master

Alina is super excited to be a part of Saxon Stage’s production of /Guys and Dolls/! You may have seen her previous work as a props designer in /Alice in Wonderland/ and /The Man Who Came to Dinner/, along with some other prop happenings within Saxon Stage. Alina would like to thank her incredible crew for making her job so fun for these past years, and for their wonderful assistance and dedication to this crew. She would like to shout out everyone who has ever been on props with her, because they have been— and still are— so amazing, caring, hard working, and joyful to be around! And finally, Alina would like to give a very special thank you to her sister and mother. Their never ending support in every possible way has helped her immensely, both in Saxon Stage and elsewhere, and she will continue to make them proud everyday! She hopes you enjoy the show that robbed four separate local libraries of their entire newspaper stash— she can bet a bonafide Alina-Cheng Marker™️ that it will be the best show you’ve seen yet!

Gauri Pillai

Props Assistant

Gauri is very happy to be on the crew for Guy's and Dolls. She is a sophomore at Langley, and this is her 4th show she's worked on here at Saxon Stage. She would like to thank her entire crew for making this possible, especially her friends Alina He-Chang and Annabelle Bozarth for being such great role models and supporting her and her crew each step of the way. She would also like to thank her friends, family, and everyone else who worked on this production. She hopes you enjoy Guy's and Dolls!

Annabelle Bozarth

Special Effects

Annabelle Bozarth is a senior at Langley High School. This is her 8th show with Saxon Stage, previous roles include Prometheus (Thank You For Flushing....), SFX Designer (Alice in Wonderland), Assistant Director (The Man... Dinner) and Propsmaster (Urinetown, Freaky Friday). Next year, she will continue working and expanding her knowledge on technical theater at JMU (go Dukes!). She wants to thank her parents for their support, Mr. Kaufman for his guidance, and the props crew for their hard work on the show. Enjoy the show!

Sreeja Vemuri

Set Designer

Sreeja is a junior and she's super excited to show off the set for Guys and Dolls! This is her fourth production at Saxon Stage, and she is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be entrusted to the role of head set designer for a main stage production. Previously, she was the assistant set designer for Alice in Wonderland, and was on set construction and lighting for Urinetown: The Musical. She would like to thank the amazing construction crew for helping her bring her vision into reality, her friends for their unending support, and her family for keeping up with her busy, busy schedule. In her free time, Sreeja likes to sleep, read, and listen to music. She hopes you enjoy the show and appreciate all of the hard work that both cast and crew put in to bring Guys and Dolls to life!

Mo Rees

Shop Foreman

Mo is excited to share the hard work all the members of construction crew have put into the set for this production, especially his co-head Sreeja for creating such a great design. This is Mo’s fourth production with Saxon Stage with some of his prior shows being Alice in Wonderland as well as Urinetown. Mo would also like to thank his family for all their support and having such a flexible schedule.

Klaus Kizelewicz

Shop Manager

Klaus is a senior, and has been part of Saxon Stage for two years. In the past, he's worked on The Man Who Came to Dinner, Urinetown, and Alice in Wonderland doing both set construction and stage crew. He would like to thank his parents for supporting him and his crew for being good friends and coworkers. Logan Dooley

Costumes Designer

Logan is filled with so much joy with how this production has turned out and is so sad to be leaving Saxon Stage after 6 shows working costumes. He would like to thank his crew and morning tech crew for helping make this show magical, as well as his friends for putting up with how often he talks their ears off about theater.

Lorna Evans

Wardrobe Supervisor

Lorna Evans is so excited to have been a part of this year's production of Guy's and Dolls! This time, she worked as the Wardrobe Head for the Costume Crew! This is Lorna's 10th show in general, but her 6th show with Saxon Stage! She would like to thank her parents for their never-ending support, all her friends, and her fellow crew members for helping her and others to make this show as amazing as it could be! She hopes you enjoy the show!

Jacqueline Gauthier 

Scenic Painting Head

Jacqueline Gauthier is a senior here at Langley High School, and has been a part of the program since the start of her sophomore year as an ASM in Murder on the Orient Express. She has done it all, from acting to tech, and is very sad to have Guys and Dolls as her last Saxon Stage Production. Splitting her time between Theater, soccer and school is tough, but she loves the creative outlet and fulfillment that it gives her and hopes everyone has as much fun as she does!

Yasmine Said

Assistant Scenic Painting Head

Yasmine is excited to be the assistant scenic painting head of the Guys and Dolls musical. This is Yasmine's 4th production with Saxon Stage. She was part of the scenic painting in A Man Who Came to Dinner, Urinetown, and was the scenic painting head for Alice in Wonderland. She wants to thank her family, friends, and director Brian Kaufman for their support. Enjoy the show!

Luka He

Stage Crew Chief

Luka is so grateful to be the Stage Crew head for this year's spring musical. This is Luka's 6th production here at Saxon Stage, previously also working as Stage Crew head in Alice in Wonderland, Urinetown, and many more. She wants to thank her parents, best friends, stage crew kids, and teachers (shout out Ms. Stankiewicz if you see this) for being so awesome. Enjoy the show, and please don't look too closely for Luka during scene changes!

Assistant Stage Crew Chief

This is DJ's first year of being apart tech theater and it is their first time working on a musical! They have previously worked on Alice and Wonderland as a member of run crew. This show they have moved up and they are the assistant run crew head. They owe thanks to the ASMs and the prop crew members. Enjoy the show!

Lily Bowers

Makeup/Hair Co-Head

Lily Bowers is a junior at Langley and has been doing theatre for 8 years. She have been taking theater classes in school since 6th grade. She tried a lot of different crews her freshman year (props, run crew, makeup). She took over makeup her sophomore year, and has designed around 5 shows since, and also tested out acting. This is their 8th (?) show with Saxon Stage. They would like to thank the cast and crew for making theater a great place.

Jude is so excited to be a crew member of the fantastic show. This is Jude's 4th production with Saxon Stage and her first as Co-Head for Hair & Makeup. Aryana Molaiy

Marketing Co-Head

Aryana is very excited to be a part of the Guys and Dolls crew! She is very proud to have been given the opportunity of Marketing Co-Head and would like to thank Caprice, the Marketing Co-Head, Sophia, the FOH Head, and the rest of the FOH and Marketing crew for their amazing work throughout the whole process. You may have previously seen Aryana helping during the last four productions as well, which include Freaky Friday, The Man Who Came to Dinner, Urinetown, and Alice in Wonderland. Sophia Colaiacovo Flanders

Sophia is excited to be a crew head for the very first time! She has been acting for eight years, and this is her fourth production with Saxon Stage. She is grateful to have expanded her experience in theater production through being a member of Guys and Dolls' marketing and front-of-house crew. Sophia would like to thank her awesome crew members for all of their hard work and creativity invested in this production, Mr. Kaufman for giving her the opportunity to be front-of-house head, and her mom for her endless support.
