Nikki Haghighi

(She/Her)

Nikki Noshad has a complicated history with theater. Her first experience with theater was in kindergarten, when she enthusiastically performed as Chicken Little, from the hit book about a chicken thinking the sky had fallen. Mid show, her teacher pulled her to the side and told little kindergartner Nikki she had to “tone it down”. It was at that very second young Nikki decided theater wasn’t for her. She was very wrong though, and the very second she first breathed in the comforting scent of sawdust and the toxic paint fumes, she knew. She knew she was destined to hammer a nail into a piece of wood, fantasizing about being a cool woman(wearing flannel), only to be thrown back into reality, hunched over a tear soaked sheet of paper sobbing ecstatically, then in horror when it rips. I’d like to thank the companies that chose to make paint smell so spicy, and my kindergartener teacher for crushing my spirit.

Victoria Scarpato is a junior at Langley who has participated in theatre for years, but recently transferred to Langley. This is the first year she has been a part of tech, working in construction and painting. It has been a great learning opportunity, taking up new skills and meeting wonderful people. Outside of school she loves drawing, but tech has given her the chance to explore many new art forms. She’s excited to continue theatre, and looks forward to all the projects that she’ll be able to help bring to life.

Rhiannon Yanoska is a Langley Highschool freshman, working on Tech since the Fall Play! She was even part of an acting group numerous times in the past, and plans to join more. Stage fright sucks, though. She's glad she got to work on the play, extra excited due to her work being super fun and her field of experience. Rhiannon would like to thank everyone on the management team, especially Tippens and Mr. Kaufman. She hopes you enjoy the show!
