Andy Powell (any)

Assistant Director/Sound Engineer

Andy is excited to be assistant directing their first full length show. They’re very excited to see the full piece come together. In the past Andy has assistant directed Fortress, and was Sound Designer on The Man Who Came To Dinner, The Lightning Thief, Freaky Friday, 26 Pebbles, and Murder on the Orient Express. They’d like to thank everyone on cast and crew for bringing this all together, particularly the stage managers who have been fantastic all production. They hope you enjoy the show.

Alex Jia (he/him)

Technical Director

Alex is incredibly excited to be the technical director for Urinetown: The Musical and has had an amazing time working with the crew to help produce the show. This is Alex's fourth show with Saxon Stage but his first ever time as technical director, although he was assistant technical director last show. Please enjoy the show!

Jenny Mears (any)

Stage Manager/Sound Engineer

Jenny Mears is a sophomore at Langley, she has done numerous Saxon Stage productions before, whether as a stage manager or sound designer. They are a member of Langley's Cappies Critic Team and received a perfect score for their sound design thespy at the Virginia Thespian Festival. She adores being in theater everyday, despite the chaos, and appreciates every person who brings a smile to her face. If not in theater, you can either find singing her heart out, thinking no one can hear her or spending time with her lovely friends. They thank the entire cast & crew for their hard work, her sister for being her favorite person on planet earth and hope you have a spectacular time watching the show :)!

Izzy Steenburgh (she/her)

Stage Manager/Assistant Marketing Head

Izzy Steenburgh is a sophomore at Langley High School and this is her ninth Saxon Stage production, with her most recent shows being Gravediggers and Fortress. When she’s not working on the playbill, she loves to take photos and create horror shorts using surprisingly scary plastic masks. Izzy would like to thank Jenny and Daniel for being amazing ASMs, Q and Caroline for all their hard work, and Mr. Kaufman for giving her so many opportunities. She would also like to thank the Newsies soundtrack. Izzy hopes you enjoy the show that everyone has put so much time and hard work into!

Daniel Qiu (he/him)

Stage Manager/Costume Movement Supervisor

This is Daniel’s 3rd production with Saxon Stage, and his 17th production as a self-admitted theatre kid (boo)! While this is his 8th production in stage management, this is his first year at both Saxon Stage and Langley High School! He has many people he would like to thank: Jenny and Izzy, the other lovely stage managers, Mr. Kaufman, for entrusting him with this role, Caroline, Alina, Ashraya and Q, who've helped him out greatly, and his Mom and Dad. He sincerely hopes you enjoy this show, and never lose the privilege to pee <3

Caroline is a freshman at Langley High School and this is her second production here. She is really excited and grateful to be working with the stage management team! She enjoys participating in choir (even though she's backstage for shows), piano and music in general, and eating New York pizza. She would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her and helping her learn, and she hopes you enjoy the show!

Cassie Keating (she/her)

Lighting Designer/Head

Cassie Keating is a senior at Langley High School and the Lighting Designer/Head of Lighting for Urinetown. This is her 9th and last main production at Langley and will be continuing lighting design in college. She would like to thank all of her tech and actor children for making this show so fun and hopes everyone enjoys the show!

Erin is excited to work on this production Urinetown! She enjoys being apart of backstage theatre, especially in the lighting crew (she loves everyone she’s worked with so far). Atlas is honored for the opportunity to be in both cast and crew this show, and he thanks his family for dealing with last minute rehearsal add-ons. He would also like to thank Cassie K. and Erin Y. for helping him find his passion he would like to continue after high school. Atlas loves music and sleeping, so you'll find him in some absurd napping areas if you need him.

Annabelle Bozarth (she/her)

Props Designer/Head

Annabelle is excited to be props head for Urinetown. She is a junior at Langley High School and can proudly say she holds the record for shortest person at Langley. Her past work includes Propmaster for Freaky Friday, Assistant Director for TMWCTD and an ensemble member for Fortress. She has had fun working on this very creatively named musical. She thanks her prop crew, and honorary prop crew members, for all their hard work and support She would also like to thank the director and the rest of the cast and crew. On with the show! LLCC

Logan Dooley (he/him)

Costume Designer/Head

Urinetown is Logans third production with Saxon Stage and has been a constant joy for Logan to work on this year. Designing the costumes this year has brought him so much closer to both his cast and costume crew and is forever grateful for that. Some of Logans prior productions includes "Freaky Friday" and "The Man Who Came To Dinner". Outside of theatre Logan enjoys a multitude of different arts as well as enjoying the nature in his local environments. He would like to thank all of his peers who came to watch the hard work we've put into the show.

Lily Bowers is a sophmore at Langley and has been doing theatre for almost 8 years. She have been taking theater classes in school since 6th grade. She tried a lot of different crews her freshman year (props, run crew, makeup). This year they took over makeup this year, has designed 3 shows since, and also tested out acting. This is their 7th show with Saxon Stage. They would like to thank BK for always being understanding, and the cast and crew for making theater a great place!!

Ashraya Suri (she/her)

Ashraya is a sophomore at Langley and this is her 5th production with Saxon stage. She loved doing makeup for Urinetown because it allowed her to express her creativity while having an amazing time! Besides theater, she likes to bake, sew, crochet, and sleep. She would like to thank everyone on cast and crew because this show wouldn’t have been able to happen with out them! She also thanks her friends and family for giving her all the support she could ever ask for! She hopes you enjoy the show!

Conner Tone is a junior at Langley High school, and this is his 6th show doing tech. He was, still is, and will always be a part of run crew, and is currently also head of stage crew. Luka is grateful to be apart of the musical Urinetown as the assistant head of Stage crew. She enjoys being apart of the process to complete and pull off the show, as well as collaborating with her best friend and head of Stage crew to make backstage a fun place. Killian Korchnak is a junior, Urinetown is his second production as Set Designer. He is really excited to continue to grow as a creative but is incredibly grateful for the opportunity of being put into a leadership position. He would like to thank Mr. Kaufman for trusting him to create new and exciting things for Saxon Stage. He would also like to thank his mother for encouraging him, no matter what he chooses to do. Mo can't wait to show off the set for Urinetown! He is a freshman and this is his second production with Saxon Stage. Jacqueline is a junior at Langley and is very excited to be head of Scenic Painting for Urinetown. She has been tech at previous Saxon stage shows - Murder on the Orient Express and Freaky Friday - and had a brief stint as an actor in The Man Who Came To Dinner. She would like to give a big thanks to her crew that keeps grinding when she has to split her attention to her other spring activity, Varsity Soccer. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Clemence loves to draw. She's been creating art since 5 years old and began to pick up painting and digital art to expand her creativity. Some of Clemence's work is in performances that include: The Man Who Came to Dinner and The VHSL One Act. Clemence has created show posters since coming to Langley, and she wants to thank her family and friends for supporting her and hopes you enjoy the musical!

Aryana Molaiy is a sophomore at Langley High School and this is her third production with the Saxon Stage. Front of House Head

Urinetown is Siy’s fourth and final production with Saxon Stage and they are so excited! Siy runs the front of house and joined costumes for this show to prepare for their major in college, production design with a specialty in costuming. Siy is a senior at langley and after graduation they will attend Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), majoring in Production Design and Business and minoring in French!

Aanya Shah is a sophomore at Langley and this is her third show on construction and first on lights! Aanya is grateful for the construction and lighting crews for always answering her many questions and helping her learn new things. She is thankful for the amazing community in theatre, and working with so many awesome people. In her free time, she enjoys doing art, listening to music, and reading books. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Sreeja Vemuri (she/her)

Spotlight

Sreeja Vemuri is a sophomore here at Langley High School, and this is her second show with Saxon Stage! She is grateful for the opportunity to be on the technical side of the production. She would like to thank both the construction crew for laughing at her occasional mediocre jokes and her parents for putting up with her busy schedule. In her free time, which only seems to shrink day by day, she can be found reading, surfing the web, or spending time with her pet parakeets. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Alina is happy to be on props again for Saxon Stage! She enjoys prop-making and hanging out with her crew, even if they take her phone during the octillionth of a nanosecond she leaves it unattended. In the past she’s done props for Freaky Friday, The Man Who Came to Dinner, and is currently working on props and technical direction for a Saxon Stage Afterhours production Occupational Hazard by Brady Kastner. (Come see Occupational Hazard in May!) She would like to give a shout out to every member in her crew for being the most amazing people to work and be friends with on the planet, and her family for always being there to support her. With Urinetown, she assures you that urine for a treat, because you WILL enjoy the show. It’s definite.
