Welcome to the Improv Team

"You’re only given one little spark of madness. You mustn’t lose it." — Robin Williams

What is improv?

Improvisational theatre (or improv for short) is acting without a script. Instead, actors create scenes spontaneously, either unplanned or with a few variables. You may know of improv from some of your favorite TV or movie moments, but did you know it can also be games, scenes, or even whole shows? Improv performances let you, the audience, be in on and even sometimes help make the jokes. Want to see more? Come to one of Assembly Required’s performances!
