2020/2021 Cappies Season
The 2020-2021 Cappies season was different from previous years. Because of the COVID-19 restrictions, most shows were virtual. The Cappies program also moved from an awards-based program to a review-only program. Schools were allowed to submit up to five shows instead of the usual one per year.

It is something we are taught to avoid, that relationships and conversations with others are what bring meaning to our lives. Langley High School's production of Hey, Stranger challenges this idea, providing a brilliant commentary on human existence and the beauty that can be found in being alone."

"'What separates us?" In a world weary from a yearlong lockdown, the answer might seem simple: physical distance. However, this time of racial reckonings and growing political divisions has shown there are many other factors causing the disconnect. Langley High School's production of "Long Division" explored why rifts form in our society and what ultimately brings us all together."

Langley High School's captivating production of Never Swim Alone invited listeners to dive deeper into the men's ocean of secrets as the true origins of their rivalry washed ashore."
